Enjoli Mitchell is from Omaha, Nebraska.  Humbly labeled by her fans as “The Voice of the City”, Enjoli and her sultry vocals quickly rose to recognition after the release of her debut album called Set the Mood in 2013. After releasing her hit single entitled Thinking, in early 2017 Enjoli formed her R&B/Soul band called Timeless. Since its launch, Enjoli & Timeless has opened for artists like Pleasure P, Juvenile, Angela Winebush, CeCe Peniston, Grammy Award Winner, Lecrae and toured with the legendary rap artist, Twista. Timeless has also sold out 3 performances, including her first DIY concert at The Waiting Room in September of the same year.  Enjoli is a 3-time Omaha Hip-Hop Award winner and a 4-time Omaha  Entertainment & Arts Awards nominee. She also began recording her upcoming mix tape entitled, For the People, by the People”, which features some of the cities greatest R&B and Hip-Hop artists. In April 2018, Enjoli & Timeless connected with the historic Love’s Jazz & Art Center to launch Loving the Mic; a unique open mic night that features local talent and live music. Enjoli has quickly become one of the top artists locally to perform at The Jewell on a regular basis and we are very pleased to reopen virtually with her soulful beautiful voice, we are very excited!

Recently won the OEAA award for Outstanding R&B Artist,

Andrew Bailie is an American songwriter, singer and guitarist. His intricate songs are crafted with raw emotion, fierce guitar work, and an unmistakable, soaring voice. Drawing elements from a variety of musical styles and traditions, Bailie’s songs are woven from his own hopes, fears and enchantment, tapping into the common human experiences that give us pause, inspire longing, or set us ablaze.

After extensive touring across the US and Europe with legendary gospel and funk organist Cory Henry (Snarky Puppy/Funk Apostles), Bailie relocated from New York City to Omaha (where he grew up) in order to pursue a new project with jazz great and sensei Dana Murray (Wynton Marsalis/Jimmy Witherspoon/Norah Jones). He is best known locally for past projects the Jazzwholes and It’s True. Bailie has also worked with platinum recording artist Aloe Blacc, members of Snarky Puppy, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Mononeon, Marcus Lewis, and shared the stage with Res, Talib Kweli, Lalah Hathaway, George Clinton, Marcus Miller and others. He has performed at the Monaco, North Sea, Vienne, Sète and Umbria Jazz Festivals across Europe and is set to release a collection of songs entitled “Wasteland” available soon.

Mitch Towne is a keyboardist and touring musician, and is widely considered as the “go-to” Hammond organist in the Midwest. His ability to move seamlessly between diverse styles has made him a sought-after side-man with artists as varied as jazz/R&B artist and Grammy-winning producer Terrace Martin, jazz heavyweights Ryan Kisor, Dave Stryker and Adam Larson, blues artists Eric Gales and Ben Poole, and multi-platinum artist Aloe Blacc. In 2015, Towne played organ on the track “Push” for the album “Velvet Portraits” by Terrace Martin, which was nominated for a 2016 Grammy for “Best R&B” album.

David Hawkins is a young, up and coming drummer, originally from Omaha, Nebraska. He began seriously pursuing music through the study of jazz, which in turn, has led him to tour, record and perform with a variety of different artists across many genres of music.

Electric Bass extraordinaire Jacob Sorensen has become the “go to” bass player in Omaha for a wide variety of groups.  He recently performed for over 2 hours at our 1 year Anniversary Show and had every song memorized.  With his wide range of styles and his unique sound, you immediately can identify his playing.  We are proud to have him join us in the reopening virtual fundraiser concert.
